083 - why can't I have both? 08.06.07

JP finds Craig's watch at home and, remembering the last night, he is happy.

Later John Paul sees Craig and seems almost glad to see him. But Craig is not.

JP asks Craig if he's pretending to deny all again. And Craig says no. John Paul assures Craig he does not need to rush into coming out.

But JP cant deny his feelings.

JP: " Iwant you, allright, I wanna be with you"

But Craig is still in denial.

Craig: "And we can be. We can carry on seeing eachoters but it doesn mean I have to finish with Sarah. I know that now".

Craig: "I love her, I want her and that never gonna change"..

but then Craig:"with you is different"

Craig: "it doesn mean we have to stop seeing eachothers. WHY CAN'T I HAVE BOTH?"

John Paul is stunned.

As they sit under a tree, Craig insists he's sorted everything out in his head, he is not gay, and never will be, but this does not mean that he and John Paul cannot have sex from time to time, they could still continue to see each other, no one gets hurt.

But JP reminds Craig how he is in love with him.

JP: "And what about me? Have you got any idea what it does to me watching you and Sarah all over eachoter?"

JP still tries to convince Craig, saying he can take good care of him as much as Sarah.

JP: "But you wanna be with me as much as I wanna be with you"

Craig: "You r living in a fantasy world"

JP: " I'm sick of being used"

An unfazed Craig tells John Paul whether he likes it or not, they both know how it's gonna end up
Craig:" All the same. Next time I come knocking youll be there. I know it and you know it".

John Paul doesn't answer and leaves.

Later on, Craig convinces Sarah to take him back and as they kiss and make up, John Paul looks on, heartbroken.
